Potassium Iodide Starch Papers — PL Precision Laboratories colorimetric test strips for the rapid detection of free iodine, chlorine, and peroxides in solution, designed for CBRN response teams, hazmat laboratories, and field sampling units requiring fast, consumable-based chemical screening of unknown liquid substances.

Dipped into solution for 1–2 seconds, the strips react immediately to chlorine and peroxides, and within approximately 60 seconds to iodine — producing a slight blue colour at lower concentrations (from 5–10 ppm) and turning dark blue to purple at higher levels, with upper detection limits of 400–450 ppm for chlorine and peroxides and 50–100 ppm for iodine. Also available in military grade for more demanding operational requirements.
